Actually whether it's a knock off or not doesn't matter. A poor quality product will simply need more body work to make it look good, thats all it is. Pay up front or pay down the road.

Most people do the over fenders when they receive quarter panel damage. They see it as the cost effective solution to cover up those crinkled panels. This means they often fall in that "cheap ass" category because they are not looking to spend the coin to have a professional body shop fix it.

These same guys doing the fenders typically have no bodywork experience. They watch a few "how too clips" on youtube and think they can slap on their $190 fenders and look like champs. Body work is very much an art that needs lots of experience and patients. The end result is the poor fitment, poor paint match and crap install methods. This would happen no matter what, if it's a $50 eBay panel or a $1,900 carbon fiber JDM yo-panel.

All this squawking about "name brand/quality" is BS unless we are talking about actual metal work.

Set of rear 11" 930 Steel flares are only $1000. Two bad people think $400 is baller and no one will ever make a set of dies for the 240SX.
